About

San Diego Photographer
Hello and welcome to my Blog!  Thank you for visiting.  I hope you enjoy my photography, tips and articles.  I took a round-about road to photography.  My dad was a Design Engineer and would take me to his office with all the big desks, cool office machines & forms and beautiful secretaries.  I was bound and determined I would work there someday.  Well, I never did work with my dad, however, I did get a degree in Accounting and was off to work in banking, which I did for over 15 years.  During this time I also found my love of photography through odd channels…I guess I do everything through a strange path.  I would go to weddings and always be more interested in what the photographer was doing than what the bride was doing.  One day someone asked me, “Sarah, if you could do absolutely anything, what would it be?”  I immediately answered, “Be a wedding photographer.”  WOW!  Where did that come from!  So in my 20′s I worked for a well-known photographer in my hometown first helping him with weddings and eventually, shooting weddings solo for him.  After a move from my hometown to Maine, I decided to try my hand at opening a studio.  In 1998 I began by photography career full-time and have never looked back.  I have found my love for photography so fulfilling and gratifying, I can’t imagine a better job!  I love capturing wonderful moments in my client’s life whether it be the beauty of their wedding day or a family portrait.  Every photograph captures one moment in time which becomes a wonderful memory.  I say I’m in the memory making business!  And I couldn’t be happier!  I hope someday to meet you and capture a great memory for you and your family!

Enjoy!
