Road Trip!
I recently decided it was time to visit Antelope Canyons in Page, Arizona. When I first moved to San Diego, I had seen photographs of this place people called Slot Canyon. I wasn’t sure where it was or how to plan a trip to visit these amazing canyons. Last month, I noticed on Facebook that a friend from New Brunswick, Canada had just visited the canyons. Well I couldn’t be out done by a guy who lived thousands of miles from this place when I only lived a few hundred miles! I immediately planned a road trip. I was so focused on the canyons themselves that I didn’t even look at the map to see what was around the area or where the drive to the canyons would take me. I was so pleasantly surprised to discover that if we took a little left in Utah we could drive through the bottom section of Zion National Park! Southern Utah is filled with National Parks and National Forests and it is just so majestically gorgeous! Here are a few photos I was able to capture while hopping in and out of the car on our drive.
